General Admission
The general admission ticket grants you access to explore 11 of Grayson County's oldest cabins, some dating back to the 1830's! On arrival you will get a paper tour guide and a key that gets you inside of six of the homes on the property. The tour takes about 45 minutes to complete but you are more than welcome to stay for the entirety of our operating hours.

Welcome to Frontier Village & Museum’s Pioneer Summer Camp!
Get ready for three unforgettable days where kids ages 7–12 can step into the boots of a 19th-century pioneer and experience hands-on history like never before!
🧵 Dress the Part!
Each camper will be provided with period-appropriate clothing to fully immerse themselves in frontier life. From the moment they arrive, they’ll feel like they’ve traveled back in time!

Camp runs 9:00 AM–12:00 PM daily

• Learn to Weave by Hand (Part 1)
• Churn Butter like a pioneer
• Enjoy Old-Fashioned Outdoor Games
🔹 Day 2 – Hearth & Play
• Bake Apple Pies over an open fire
• Continue your weaving project (Part 2)
• Play a classic Game of Croquet
🔹 Day 3 – School Days & Spinning Tales
• Tour and attend a mini-lesson in the Coldsprings School Cabin
• Learn the pioneer technique of the Drop Spindle
• Make your own Thaumatrope (a vintage optical toy!)
