Grayson County Frontier Village presents their first ever , "Pioneer Camp at Frontier Village."
Camp dates are June 18th, 19th, and 20th from 9am to 12pm, with a 2nd tentative date set for June 25th, 26th, and 27th. (Depending on enrollment.)
Are you ready for an adventure? A Pioneer adventure awaits you as you step into the village full of cabins, critters, skills, and pastimes that kids just like you enjoyed and learned over 100 years ago.
Pioneer Camp is open to ages 7 to 12.
Cost per child is $75
Class size is limited to 15 per class.
Junior Membership to GCFV is included with registration.

* Food Preservation: Making Pickles
* Nature Walk and Specimen Collecting
* Pastimes: Whittling, Corncob Doll, Thaumatropes, Paper Dolls
* Home Living: Hearth Cooking, Butter Churning, Soap Making, Sewing Buttons
* Singing, Storytelling
* Cabin Tours/Cabin Building Basics
Proceeds of this event help maintain some of the oldest buildings in Grayson County!
